The Veronica -dress is a reproduction of a 1940s home sewing pattern made to fit a modern figure. This classic 40s style features drapes on the shoulders and several pleats under the bust giving room for different bust sizes. The sleeves are draped on the shoulders and also have several pleats on the cuffs which creates a beautiful puffed look. The skirt is made with several panels and it's closely fitted in the hip and flared towards the hem. There is a zip on the side.
The fabric is very dark purple, almost an inky blue with a beautiful, subtle sheen and woven vertical striping. The material is a rayon - polyester blend with a nice, heavy drape. Perfect for fall and winter!
