Standard TNT Barbie from Mattel in the 1970's.
This is a pink skin bend leg slant TNT Barbie and is marked with the Foreign Patent Pending Taiwan verbiage on the rear which means it is between 1973 - 1976.
This doll is gorgeous with a great Steffie face with a pouty mouth. She has a beautiful head with shiny honey blonde hair with bangs and shorter pieces on the sides, painted blue eyes and lashes, light pink cheeks and pale pink shiny lips. The original rubber band has disintegrated and has not been replaced.
The body is a standard bend leg, all bends click and hold. The arm is straight and does not bend. The empty left socket is a cross and will only hold arms designed for that terminal.
The swimsuit does not necessarily go with this doll but it is the same mod era.
In excellent condition with little wear, there are some very light scuffs to the legs and arm and areas of darkening on the arm. Doll's hair is not in original side ponytail style. The swimsuit has globs of wax or glue on the inside, they are not super sticky but I would have it cleaned before having your doll wear it for long periods. Super clean with no bad odors, ready for play or display. No bites, chews or green.
This little lady deserves a second chance, with a new arm or strategic dressing she would be a wonderful addition to your collection. Or maybe you know someone who is missing their right arm and this would make a nice cheer up gift.
