Vintage very large 3 3/8" diameter Fink University pinback which states "Fink University Sigillum Universitatis" "Once a Fink Always a Fink". Fink memorabilia has stood the test of time, and there are many collectors. Finks were originated by Ed Big Daddy Roth in the 1960s. Big Daddy Roth was an artist, cartoonist, illustrator, pinstriper and custom car designer and builder who created the hot rod icon Rat Fink and other characters. Roth was a key figure in Southern California's Kustom Kulture and hot rod movement of the late 1950s and 1960s. The Rat Rod sub culture has seen a resurgence and popularity and Roth has always been seen as an original founder of the movement. Rare button from new old stock found in remote storage in Ohio. One small scratch under close inspection but otherwise in mint condition. Rare find.
