Vintage Silver Artcraft Cat Eyeglasses 46/20 Discount Priced. The body of the frame is a matte silver metal; under the eye and over the bridge is a shiny silver metal. This is a classic design Estate Sale find. In the corner of each eye is a carved flower detail which continues down the temples. The metal frame shows corrosion in the nose area (this is the bridge piece and the under eye wire) - frame has been deeply discounted because of condition (zoom in on pics for detail). The tips (the area behind the ears) are in very good vintage condition and the nose pieces are in very good condition (will require adjusting). The frame still holds the original owners prescription that you will need to remove and replace with your own prescription.
Before you purchase remember the following, true vintage frames are smaller than modern frames, consider this and know your eyeglass frame preferred measurements before you make your purchase. If you consider installing your own lens, go to an optical company that is familiar with vintage frames - they can be fragile. As with any pair of new eyeglasses, you will want to have them adjusted to fit your nose and ears. Glass lenses have been removed. CE601
