Vintage Sears Binoculars and Leather Case - Model No. 6211. These black metal binoculars are 10x50mm. 299 ft at 1000 yds. C85299
The binoculars are in excellent condition with minimal scratches on the black metal and more importantly, no scratches or marks on the lenses. The binoculars strap is in very good condition and has signs of usage consistent with the age. The leather is in good condition.
The leather case is beautiful and is lined with a soft ridged red velvet type of material. The strap for the case is attached but is separated (severed) in the middle from years of use.
This binocular set was purchased from the estate of a neighbor who for years, used these binoculars to look at the birds in his yard, the wildlife that from time to time strolled through and to basically explore nature in enhanced detail. This man took meticulous care of his tools and all of his possessions which is why the body and lenses of these binoculars are in such good shape.
These binoculars were used as my dear neighbor and his family Traveled the Roads of our beautiful countryside as well as being used at home to look at the yard he so dearly tended and loved, the birds that flew over and the leaved on the trees.
