The bold look of the classic 1940s double breasted mens suit is purely sophisticated. This genuine 1940s navy blue wool two piece suit was made by Crescent Park for Howard's Smart Clothes of San Francisco. The union tag on the inside jacket pocket has a copyright date of 1939 which makes it the tag style they used from 1939-1948. The jacket has a cinched in waist and no back vent. The trousers contain a button fly as well as suspender buttons. The trousers also have no pleats on the front, a small secret pocket on the front and cuffs at the bottoms of each leg.
Condition:
Excellent vintage condition. No holes. Some buttons have been replaced on the front. The originals are blue, while the replacements are black. One button is possibly missing on the inside jacket, but functions just fine without it. Minor dust/dirt spots in a few places, please see pictures.
