This vintage fifties two piece dress is dark gray with pearl grey buttons.
The dress is by Jay Alan of Houston. The short sleeve dress - suit is not lined. It buttons down the front. The skirt has a side metal zipper and kick pleat in the back. The cropped top or jacket has a band detail above lowest button. The woven material looks like linen and is probably a cotton blend.
The measurements are top 38" bust and length is 19". The skirt waist is 27" and length is 26". Both pieces are in very good condition.
