This pretty vintage fifties dress is black with a pattern of white and blue "snoflakes". The design is on the sheer layer as well as the solid layer underneath and the dots look like tiny paint spots.
The dress has a shawl collar and side metal zipper. The short sleeve dress has a very full skirt. There is not a maker name inside but the matching belt is marked size 16 1/2 so I do not think it was homemade.
The sheer overlay is nylon. The layer underneath is satin acetate. The dress is in very good condition.
The measurements are 38" bust, 31" waist, and hips are free. The length is 43".
Great dress for casual wear or add jewelry and heels for dressy events!
