Here's a neat deck of vintage advertising playing cards - "Bacardi - The World's Great Rum" - circa late 1950s or early 1960s. This is a hard-to-find deck, perhaps rare.
Per the Ace of Spades, these cards were made by Brown & Bigelow of St. Paul, Minnesota. The Jokers are marked: Redislip. Each plastic coated card has a nice gold edge.
The Bacardi Rum cards have been taken out of their plastic wrap, but the deck is complete. All 54 cards are there, including two Jokers - and they are in very good condition. No tears, bends, markings or stains!
BONUS! Included is a second deck of vintage playing cards that is still in its original plastic wrap, as pictured above. I don't know if this is also a Brown & Bigelow deck. The Jokers are marked: "Stardust - plastic coated"
The two decks will be delivered to you in a vintage hard plastic card case. The bottom is black plastic - and the cover is clear. The case shows some wear, with scuffs and little scratches - but it has no chips or cracks and is nice and sturdy. The case is unmarked.
This would make a nice little gift for your favorite rum drinker - or for anyone who collects advertising playing cards. Enjoy!
