This would make a one-of-a-kind stunning alternative wedding dress!
Holy cow, this dress is just amazing! You will certainly feel like Cinderella wearing this dress! Absolutely stunning vintage 1950's ballgown or prom dress. Loads of Tulle overlay a taffeta skirt. The bodice and part that lays over the skirt is white silk embroidered with blue and white flowers attached to a white taffeta backing. The bodice has boning front and back. The tulle "straps" are detachable and there is another square of matching tulle (27x23inches) to be used as a shawl, folded for a hair piece, or whatever else you could imagine to do with it. The only tagged I can find is a union tag. Zips up the back with a metal zipper and a lovely pale blue satin bow.
Ok flaws, There's a couple places at the very bottom where the tulle is torn, it is very hard to see especially given the large amount of tulle that is on this dress, in fact I didn't see it for the first two months that I own the dress! The light blue taffeta bow that fastens in the back has a little bit of fading, it is not strongly noticeable.
The parasol is light blue lace trimmed with white lace and little blue ribbons where it attaches to the frame and a white patent leather or vinyl handle. It is in excellent condition with no holes in the lace, the handle is slightly stuffed but that is it.
The measurements are taken while laying flat. There is no stretch to the fabric.
