This fan is 16" tall, plus the handle and consists of 9 ostrich feathers. It is beautiful and dramatic.
The fan is in Very Good vintage condition. There are a few places where the bottom ends of the feathers are chipped, (not broken), The feathers themselves are bushy and well preserved. (Please examine photos.) The fan opens and closes, but needs gently treatment. It has been boxed over the years to preserve its beauty.
The only information I have is that it came from an acquaintance's inheritance from her mother and grandmother. I purchased a lot of things with the hope that I could find these cherished items good homes.
The fan comes boxed for its protection.
