This is a vintage JC Penny portable AM/FM/record player in a 1960s-70s gold buttercup color. It runs on batteries or wall plug. It is in great vintage condition. The front opens to reveal the turntable.
The good: The radio works, the antenna is intact, the battery compartment is clean and the handle is functional.
The not so good: the power cord had been cut and is now repaired, the pick-up head on the phonograph is missing a piece, the turntable does not go around, door for the power cord storage compartment is missing, there is one small crack on the back case (it looks like someone didn't know how to open the battery compartment) and two adjusting knobs are missing.
Penncrest model 4375
It measures 14 in wide x 11 in tall x 5 in deep when closed, 12 in when the turntable is down.
This is a really rare fine - I can find none online anywhere. Even if you don't use the record player - it looks absolutely great on a shelf!
