Here at Back Road Candles, we use 100% pure fragrance oils and distribute the scent throughout the candle, which allows for a strong lasting fragrance for the entire burn of the candle. Each and every candle is hand-poured.
We use a wonderful container candle wax that provides excellent cold and hot scent throw. A nice combination of soy wax, other vegetable waxes, and food grade paraffin, our wax holds more fragrance than most waxes on the market. It clings nicely to the sides of jars, and has a nice creamy, glossy appearance. It allows us create candles rich in color, and has a wonderful melt pool.
Our candles will not only smell incredible while burning but they also burn clean so that there is virtually no waste!
It is VERY important to keep your wicks trimmed at all times! The key to a perfect burning candle is not only in how it is made but how it is burned. Never allow your candles to burn for more then 3-4 hours at a time before extinguishing the candle, allowing it to cool, trimming the wick and then re-lighting it. Properly maintaining your wick is a must and the key to a better burning, longer lasting candle. Remember to never burn your candles in any type of draft. Following these simple rules will extend the life of your candle and give you hours of enjoyment.
