Marked down from $188. Gorgeous 1940's flax colored Cheongsam dress has marigold velvet "puff" flowers, that are stuffed with batting which makes them stand out visually, adding texture as well. Thick beautiful copper bead work makes up the leaf and stems pattern on front of dress. Collar has marigold floral bead work. Fabric feels to be either a heavy silk or rayon acetate, but drags like silk to the touch. Dress has snaps and hook + eye closure at neck and upper right bust, then zips from under the arm to mid thigh area with sexy slit sides on each side of thighs.
This dress is in moderate, but wearable condition with some scuffs to back fabric of dress, and several patches at bottom back of skirt of dress - please see photos for details. There is also a very light grey stain that may or may not come out with dry cleaning, at front right rib area- see photos again please. There is a repair to inside lining at zipper and the functionality of zipper is testy. Zipper is metal and works fine once zipped and is quite sturdy, but bottom of zipper is in delicate condition and will need repaired at some point with continued use. Dress has been let out at left hip, and could be returned to original seam with easy sewing, but will then lose that extra inch in hips. All that said, once on, this dress is still stunning and so original - damage is more visible upon close inspection, however will be sold as is. I do not accept returns, so please note all damage for your consideration.
